Charlie joined D.M.R. in 1998 and is President of the firm. He broadened the
company's services to include marketing strategy and creative services as well
as its original line of business, executive search.

Charlie acquired D.M.R. after a 6-year career with Colonial Investments, which
he joined in 1991 as director of marketing. He was later appointed Executive
Vice President of Colonial Investment Services and a Director of Colonial
Management Associates.
With Colonial, his responsibilities included product development, market
research, corporate communications, marketing support, public relations and
shareholder communications. He chaired the company's marketing committee.
Prior to Colonial, Charlie was a Managing Director with Putnam Mutual Funds,
with responsibilities including marketing support, sales promotion, public
relations and shareholder communications.
At both Colonial and Putnam, Charlie organized, designed and managed
large-scale, complex marketing organizations.
Charlie's financial services career began with Sun Life Assurance Company of
Canada, where he was Director of Marketing Services with the firm's US
Headquarters. His responsibilities included sales communications, sales
promotion and video-based training.
Early experience included work as a radio talk show producer and news writer in
Boston, and as a writer for a newspapers in Westchester County, New York.
Charlie has served as a speaker and program moderator for conferences hosted by
the Investment Company Institute, the Institute for International
Research, International Business Communications and other groups.
Recent topics have included branding for mutual fund companies, the impact of
the Internet on intermediary fund distributors and executive recruitment and
retention and staff development. Charlie is a member of the advisory board for
the Society of Strategic Planners and Marketing Professionals.
Charlie has directed marketing and creative projects receiving extensive
recognition from numerous publications as well as such professional
organizations as the Direct Mail Marketing Association, Life Insurer's
Advertising Association, New England Direct Marketing Association and the
Direct Marketing Creative Guild. DALBAR and other marketing research and
evaluation firms recognized his innovative marketing communications programs at
Putnam and Colonial as among the best in the mutual fund business.

Gordon spent his 40-year business career in the financial services industry
achieving top executive positions where he was recognized for his broad
experience and management expertise. Rising from "office boy" to CEO, his
career epitomizes the success achieved when ambition and ability are channeled
through self-discipline and hard work.

As a principal of Diversified Management Resources, Gordon serves as both
consultant and project director. With D.M.R., Gordon's broad experience,
judgment and management skills are brought to bear on a variety of marketing
and creative projects.
Gordon joined D.M.R. after his retirement from State Street Research &
Management Company. Gordon held several key positions during his 10-year tenure
with the company. Attaining the position of Senior Vice-President, he had
directed the firm's retirement plans effort, mutual fund marketing and product
development.
Prior to State Street Research, Gordon was President and CEO of USLIFE
Corporation's broker-dealer and fund underwriter prior to its acquisition by
American General Financial (now AIG). He was also President of Security
Distributors, the fund and variable annuity marketer of the Security Benefit
Group.
Earlier experience as a NYSE member firm branch office manager and as a mutual
fund wholesaler gave Gordon a broad background in dealing directly with
investors and their consultants. At Putnam, he directed the company's entry
into the variable annuity business and institutional mutual fund sales.
Following graduation from St. Lawrence University where he studied economics
and government, Gordon served as an officer in the United States Army. His
industry service includes membership in the Underwriting, Marketing and
Research Committees of the Investment Company Institute and District IV
Committee of the National Association of Security Dealers (NASD).
